Smartcam license codes

It was working fine before, but now when I try to use it with the camera app or video chat there is a white screen with the message: Tridef Smartcam Activation Required No license found Code: And then an app that says: Tridef Software Activation. I never had this problem with the first one. I checked the box and there wasn't a code nor did the receipt show anything on Tridef.

Never used the camera since I got my laptop and went to take a picture and it said I had to register it. There is an icon in the top left of the screen that says switch camera that I clicked on and I was able to take a picture. Hope that helps.
